Lynn Township, Lehigh County has 248 years of history and many generations of memories. Lynn Township now has a Historical Society to preserve those memories and pass on our history to future generations. On October 5, 1999, Lynn Township organized a Historical Society. It is being incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the Commonwealth of Pa., and designated as a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization under federal tax law.

The purpose of the Society, as set forth in its Articles of Incorporation, is: The support of an educational undertaking by promoting the discovery, collection, preservation, archive, display, interpretation, and publication of the history, historical records, culture, landmarks, artifacts, memorabilia, and data of, and relating to, the Township of Lynn and its surrounding area.

The Society is actively seeking donations of artifacts and memorabilia relating to the history of Lynn Township and is currently looking for volunteers to assist with database programming, internet web page design, graphics design, event planning and staffing, and historical research.
